Reaction was born in September 2005 when marco Vicari( lead guitar), Stefano Consonni( vocals n’ rhythm guitar) and Paolo de Luca( keyboards), who had already played together in the past decided to give life to a new band which would have had to be born from the ashes of the previous one. When Enrico “Terry” Rusconi decided to join the band as bass player, he already knew very well all Reaction’ s songs ’cause he had sung in the past with Marco, Stefano and Paolo when Stefano was just rhythm guitarist. At that time the band had not a name yet, anyway the most important problem was the absence of a drummer. The songs had to be played, they had to be listened, but it was impossible without a drummer so the guys began to spread the voice and to write advertisements. The band has played with many drummers for two years without reaching the right solution. Confusion seemed to have turned every initial aim into mirage. Moreover, the tension due to the lack of unity led the band to a quarrel which devided Paolo from the other members in September 2006. Anyway Marco, Stè and Terry didn’t give up: their songs had to be played, had to be listen! They found the force to challenge everything, everyone, even the fate! This spirit threw light on the name which better describes the band: they had to be called Reaction! The guys didn’t need a keyboards anymore ’cause a change was happened: the rage of their thrash metal had to be canalized into an order which could give it a temporal meaning of change and progression. The contents of the songs had to be sung with a melody to procure the deepest furrow into the people’s memories. Since then, they have had just a target: make everyone digest their rage! In July 2007 the fate, afraid of Reaction’ s fury(!)sent an angel-faced drummer: Ivan Tagliabue. Ivan was lookin’ for a band which had the powerful of thrash metal, the technique of progressive metal and the melody of classic metal… Using just a word he was lookin’ for Reaction without knowin’ it!…

I Reaction nacquero nel settembre 2005 quando Marco Vicari (chitarrista solista), Stefano Consonni (cantante e chitarrista ritmico) e Paolo De Luca (tastierista), che avevano già suonato insieme in passato decisero di dare vita ad un nuovo gruppo che avrebbe dovuto nascere dalle ceneri del precedente. Quando Enrico “Terry” Rusconi decise di unirsi al gruppo in qualità di bassista, conosceva già molto bene tutti i brani dei Reaction perchè aveva cantato in passato con Marco, Stefano e Paolo quando Stefano era solo chitarrista ritmico. A quei tempi il gruppo non aveva ancora un nome, ad ogni modo il problema più importante era l’ assenza di un batterista. Le canzoni dovevano essere suonate, dovevano essere ascoltate ma era impossibile senza un batterista così i ragazzi cominciarono a spargere la voce e a scrivere annunci. Il gruppo suonò con diversi batteristi per due anni senza raggiungere la giusta soluzione. La confusione sembrava aver tramutato ogni obbiettivo iniziale in miraggio. Inoltre, la tensione dovuta alla mancanza di unità portò il gruppo ad un litigio che allontanò Paolo dagli altri membri nel settembre 2006.Ad ogni modo Marco, Stè e Terry non si arresero: le loro canzoni dovevano essere suonate, dovevano essere ascoltate! Trovarono la forza per sfidare qulunque cosa e chiunque, persino il destino! Questo spirito gettò luce sul nome che meglio descrive la band: dovevano essere chiamati Reaction! I ragazzi non avevano più bisogno di un tastierista perchè qualcosa era cambiato: la rabbia del loro thrash metal doveva esere canalizzata in un ordine che potesse conferirle un significato temporale di cambiamento e progressione. I contenuti delle loro canzoni dovevano essere cantati con una melodia per procurare il più profondo solco possibile nella memoria della gente. Da allora hanno un solo obbiettivo: fare in modo che tutti digeriscano la loro rabbia. Nel luglio 2007 il destino, spaventato dalla furia dei Reaction(!) spedì un batterista dalla faccia d’angelo: Ivan Tagliabue. Ivan stava cercando un gruppo che avesse la potenza del thrash metal, la tecnica del progressive metal e la melodia del classic metal… Con una parola stava cercando i Reaction senza saperlo!…
