CoolChaser Widget is currently suspended :(

As some of you may have noticed, our CoolChaser widget installed on some of your MySpace profiles has the “CoolChaser is currently down for maintenance.” message. MySpace suspended our app because they found inappropriate materials on our site that was created by some of our users. We are working to resolve this problem with MySpace’s help and hopefully get the app back soon but we aren’t sure exactly when.
We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience!

Hi Lost John, thanks so much for the comment! I was very disappointed too and thought maybe we should give up on our app… but then we received emails from users asking us how come the app isn’t working and when the app will be back etc. 
I realized people really loved that widget! Even if the app is not that popular, as long as there are people who miss the widget, we will try our best to get it back!

Well…I hope myspace allows you back soon. I think coolchaser is the BEST layout/background app there is (and I have tried many). Just because coolchaser is suspended from myspace will not stop me from coming here and enjoying your wonderful app. Hang in there coolchaser because you are worth it. No matter what happens with myspace, I’ll be back. :0)

Hi Michelle!! Thanks again for being so supportive, you are so sweet! We resubmitted our app and are waiting approval right now! Hope we do get approved, it has been taking such a long time

this is a great site! just discovered it while searching for ideas for a couple of friends… nice to have such a creative group of people contributing so that those of us with little ability or time can take advantage of their artistry… it is unfortunate that the site was penalized instead of the culprits causing the issue…

I became involve the coolchaser and I wanted to change to a new picture of Dreamcatcher but I can’t seem to get it to download it like I did before. I don’t know if they change to a new policy or what? I like it to have it Cool_dummy into a picture instead of right now that I’m using..

As much as I like the MySpace widget, with all the bans and suspensions MySpace has thrown at us, I am tempted to say they don’t deserve to have Coolchaser widgets. A pox upon them. and on those with “inappropriate material” on their site.
